The North Carolina Baptist Hospital is seeking a registered nurse to join our clinical team. The role emphasizes patient-centered care, adherence to evidence-based practices, and collaboration with the care team.

Responsibilities include applying the nursing process, maintaining accurate EHR documentation, and upholding safety standards, with opportunities for professional development and possible float to other units as needed.

Qualificações

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active registered nurse (RN) license with privileges to practice in the state(s) where services are provided.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; additional certifications may be required by specialty.
• Telehealth/virtual practice requires licensing in applicable states.

Responsabilidades

• Engages in unit councils, governance, and quality initiatives to improve care processes and apply evidence-based practices.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate care for patients and families.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, and collaborates with the care team to influence outcomes.
• Upholds and promotes a culture of safety and quality improvement.
• May administer medications and therapies according to protocols and procedures.
• Demonstrates effective communication and delegation within the care team.
• Maintains accurate, timely EHR documentation.
• Pursues professional development and maintains required certifications.
• Adheres to ANA Code of Ethics and ethical decision-making.
• Appropriate delegation to RNs, LPNs, and unlicensed assistive personnel.
• May float to other units as needed to meet patient care needs.
• Demonstrates age-specific knowledge and patient-centered care across the lifespan.
