• Uses nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement and evaluate care.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans and collaborates with the care team.
• Promotes a culture of safety and accurate EHR documentation.
• May perform medication administration and therapies per protocols.
• Communicates effectively and delegates tasks appropriately.
• Completes required education and maintains licenses/certifications.
• Adheres to ANA codes and ethical patient care principles.
• May float to other units to meet patient care needs.
• Age-specific care knowledge and skill set as patients age.
