Ascension is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join the Emergency Department at Ascension Sacred Heart Bay in Panama City, FL. You will coordinate patient care across disciplines, implement care plans, and support discharge planning to ensure smooth transitions.

The role requires Florida RN licensure, BLS, and ACLS within specified timeframes, and a diploma from an accredited nursing program. Rotating full-time schedule offers comprehensive benefits and professional growth opportunities.

Qualificações

• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Florida.
• Compact State multi-state license recognition obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• BLS Provider or Instructor within 1 month of hire.
• ACLS/Instructor in Advanced Cardio Life Support within 6 months.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s):
• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Florida. Credentialed from State Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• One or more of the following:
• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Instructor specializing in Basic Life Support obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• One or more of the following:
• Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Instructor specializing in Advanced Cardio Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required. OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
