About this role:

Our pediatric Nurses are part of a team of specialists that provide family-centered programs that support and enable families to meet their child’s individual needs through education, training and support. You will work with families in a hybrid of telehealth and in-person capacity to provide services. Our nurses work with children ages 0-3 in this program.

Sign-On Bonus: $2,000

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 am - 4:30 pm

We are looking for RN's who:

  • Possess current licensure as a Registered Nurse by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Pediatric experience.
  • Meet DPH requirements.

The physical requirements for our Nurses:

  • Frequent movement within classroom including but not limitedto:kneeling, bending, sitting, lifting, and positioning of children
  • Operation of adaptive and specialized equipment
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds alone, 51+ pounds with the assistance of another person or adaptive equipment
  • Ability to physically assist individuals as determined by their needs
  • Ability to tolerate significant amounts of walking, standing, and sitting

As a KDC EI Nurse, you'll get to:

  • Partner with families to identify each child’s strengths and developmental needs. Together develop an Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP).
  • Work closely with a transdisciplinary team on program planning and delivery of services for families by providing intake, screening, assessments, and ongoing service coordination according to agency and DPH standards.
  • Provide a minimum of 25 hours of direct services for children and families
  • Oversee case management and referral services to assigned caseload, including participation in interagency case conferences.
  • Conduct home visits to provide developmental stimulation, parent training, and support
  • Facilitate parent/child and/or child groups to help children thrive within their family and communities
  • Complete reports of assessments, progress reports, IFSPs, and discharge summaries
  • Maintain appropriate communication with physicians, clinics, and community agencies participating in each child’s care
  • Provide information to parents that enable them to make informed decisions for their child's progress
  • This role allows for flexibility in creating your own schedule to visit with families
