Ascension Saint Joseph in Chicago, IL is seeking a dedicated emergency department support professional for the evening shift. You will assist patients, help with daily personal care, and maintain a safe, clean environment to promote healing and comfort.

This full-time role requires a patient-first approach, teamwork, and adherence to licensure requirements. The schedule is 3:00 p.m. – 3:00 a.m. on a 3x12 rotation with weekends and holidays.

Competenze

• Emergency Medical Tech credentialed from the Illinois Board Of Division of Emergency Medical Services and Highway Safety obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Intermediate or Advanced also acceptable.
• Practical/Vocational Nurse credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• Nurse Aide credentialed from the Illinois Department of Public Health obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Nursing student who has completed one semester of medical surgical nursing is also acceptable.
• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Instructor specializing in Basic Life Support obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Required Credential(s):
• One or more of the following:
