Job summary
Glen Haven Health & Rehabilitation in Northport, AL is seeking compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our day shift nursing team. As an RN, you'll provide hands-on nursing care, support CNAs, and work with an interdisciplinary team to deliver quality care for our skilled nursing and rehabilitation residents.
The role offers a full-time schedule 7:00 AM–3:00 PM, weekend differential of $0.75/hour, and a $10,000 sign-on bonus.
Qualifications
- Current Alabama RN license in good standing.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation preferred.
- Strong assessment, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Compassionate, dependable, and quality-focused.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care and coordinate resident care during the shift.
- Administer medications and treatments per orders.
- Assess residents and respond to changes in condition.
- Supervise and support CNAs on the unit.
- Maintain accurate nursing documentation.
- Communicate with residents, families, physicians, and the care team.
- Follow infection prevention, safety, and regulatory requirements.
