Job summary

Glen Haven Health & Rehabilitation in Northport, AL is hiring an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for the 3:00 PM-11:00 PM evening shift on a full-time basis. The role offers competitive base pay and opportunities to lead a care team in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting.

Responsibilities include direct resident care, medication administration, care planning, and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality, compassionate care for residents.

Qualifications

• Current Alabama RN license in good standing.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• New graduate RNs are encouraged to apply.
• Skilled nursing, rehabilitation, long-term care, post-acute care, or geriatric nursing experience preferred but not required.
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to provide clinical leadership while working collaboratively with the nursing team.
• Dependable, compassionate, and committed to exceptional resident care.

• Maintain accurate and timely electronic nursing documentation.
• Supervise, mentor, and support Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and CNAs.
• Communicate effectively with residents and families regarding care needs and changes in condition.
• Promote resident safety, infection prevention, quality improvement, and regulatory compliance.

Base Pay: $31.00-$40.40 per hour (based on experience)

Shift: 3:00 PM-11:00 PM
