Ascension St. Vincent Indianapolis Hospital in Indianapolis, IN seeks a dedicated Surgical Services RN to perform scrub and circulating duties, assist surgeons, and prepare operating rooms for procedures.

The role supports day shifts, 40 hours per week, with a gross rate up to $2,560 per week and a focus on exceptional patient care. Comprehensive benefits and ongoing professional development are provided.

Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Nurse with credentialing prior to hire.
• ACLS or BLS certification within required windows.
• Diploma from an accredited nursing program.

• Performs circulating functions monitoring patient condition and communicating nursing care before, during and after procedures.
• Directly assists operating physician with surgical tasks including hemostasis, suturing and wound exposure.

How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Performs scrub functions including the selection and handling of instruments and supplies used during procedure.
• Performs circulating functions including monitoring, recording and communicating patient condition and managing overall nursing care of patient before, during and after procedure.
• Directly assists operating physician with surgical tasks including hemostasis, suturing and wound exposure as well as patient positioning.
• Prepares operating rooms and surgical instruments and equipment for use.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s):
  • Certified Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • One or more of the following:
  • Certified Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Certified BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required. OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
