Job summary

Main Line Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Cardiothoracic Stepdown unit on the Night Shift. You will care for Cardiothoracic Stepdown patients within a 16-bed unit as part of an interdisciplinary team.

Opportunities include pursuing certifications or advanced degrees through the Tuition Reimbursement Program; up to $6,000 per year based on status. Engage in committees, precepting, and the Clinical Ladder program.

Qualifications

• One year of recent Telemetry and/or Stepdown Nurse experience.
• PA RN license or multi-state license via Nursing Licensure Compact.
• Provider BLS (American Heart Assoc/American Red Cross) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Care for Cardiothoracic Stepdown patients on a 16-bed unit.
• Caring for the Cardiothoracic Stepdown patient population.
• Precepting new staff and pursuing the Clinical Ladder program.

Position

Registered Nurse (RN) - CT-Stepdown

Shift

36 hrs per week, Night Shift (7pm-7:30am) OR Day/Night Rotation (up to the candidate whether they do straight Nights or D/N Rotation); Weekend rotation required.

Experience

One year of recent Telemetry and/or Stepdown Nurse experience required.

Education

• RN Diploma, ASN required.
• BSN preferred.

Licensures/Certifications

• PA RN license OR a multi-state license verified in one of the approved states through the Nursing Licensure Compact.
• Provider BLS (American Heart Assoc/American Red Cross) preferred.
