Job summary

Main Line Health is seeking a Surgical/Trauma Stepdown Nurse for the 32-bed unit at Lankenau Medical Center. You will care for Surgical & Trauma Stepdown/PCU patients within an interdisciplinary team and contribute to the patient experience.

Qualifications

• RN Diploma/ASN required.
• BSN preferred.
• One year Telemetry/Stepdown experience required.
• Post Surgical/Trauma RN experience preferred.
• PA RN license or multi-state license via Licensure Compact required; BLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Care for Surgical & Trauma Stepdown/PCU patients as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Participate in Nursing Committees, Unit Councils and Clinical Ladder.
• Precept new staff and contribute to evidence-based projects.

Position:

Registered Nurse (RN) - 1 Pavilion

Shift:

36 hrs per week, Nights or D/N Rotation (up to the candidate); Weekend rotation required.

Experience:

One year of recent Telemetry/Stepdown Nurse experience required. Post Surgical and/or Trauma RN experience preferred.

Education:

• 1. RN Diploma, ASN required.
• 2. BSN preferred.

Licensures/Certifications:

• 1. PA RN license OR a multi-state license verified in one of the approved states through the Nursing Licensure Compact.
• 2. Provider BLS (American Heart Assoc/American Red Cross) preferred.
