Job summary

Essentia Health in Fargo, ND is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) on a full-time basis. You will provide comprehensive nursing care through assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation, coordinating with licensed staff to deliver high-quality patient care.

The role requires a BSN or ADN, state licensure, and BCLS/ACLS certifications; ICU experience is preferred. The position supports Day/Night shifts, 0.9 FTE, with weekends every 3rd weekend and holidays.

Qualifications

• 2 years ICU experience preferred.
• Current nursing licensure in state of employment.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within one month.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within one year.

Job Description:

Responsible for organizing and providing nursing care to patients through the process of assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. Delegates aspects of care to other nursing personnel based upon their licensure, preparation and job descriptions. Contributes to the meeting of the mission and goals of the facility and Essentia, and meets the requirements of the Joint Commission if applicable and/or other federal, state and local regulatory or accrediting agencies.

Education Qualifications:

• BSN or ADN degree from an accredited school or college of nursing

Licensure/Certification Qualifications:

• 2 years of ICU Experience Preferred
• Current nursing licensure in state(s) of employment
