Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Nursing required.
• BSN preferred.
• If prepared at the associate degree level, enroll in a BSN program within 12 months and complete within 4 years.
• Prior clinical nursing experience preferred.
• RN – DC licensure required; CPR for healthcare providers within 90 days; EFM certification within 12–15 months for Perinatal nurses.

Responsibilities

• Delivers proficient nursing care to patients and families across a range of complexity.
• Collaborates with nurse leaders and colleagues to develop standards of care.
• Develops and documents an individualized plan of care for patients with highly complex needs.
• Acts as patient advocate and communicates concerns to the health care team.
• Documents data integrating assessment, pathophysiology, and treatment into patient status evaluations.
• Coordinates care to ensure safety, quality, and positive patient experience.
• Participates in unit-based committees and contributes to department goals and quality initiatives.
