Job summary

Ascension Sacred Heart Pensacola is seeking a Weekend/Full-Time RN leader for the Surgery department. You will coordinate unit staffing, assign nursing and support staff, and oversee daily patient care assignments tailored to specific population needs.

You will evaluate OR patient care, monitor clinical outcomes, and resolve care complaints through established channels to maintain high standards of quality.

Qualifications

• RN license in Florida required prior to hire.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• At least 1 year of cumulative OR/nursing experience.
• Leadership experience preferred (charge nurse).

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.




• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Florida required. Credentialed from State Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition \"Compact State\" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

• Required professional licensure/certification AND 1 year of cumulative job specific experience required.
