Job summary

Career Land Center, LLC is hiring a Registered Nurse for a 24-bed Cardiology / Intermediate Care unit at a 198-bed Level III trauma center in Farmington, NM. You will care for adult and geriatric patients with STEMI, NSTEMI, stroke and post-cath needs.

The unit uses telemetry, IV pumps and Cerner. The role requires an ADN or higher with an RN license, 1+ year of cardiology/IMC experience (2+ years preferred) and 2+ years of acute care.

Qualifications

• RN license required (ADN or higher).
• 1+ year of cardiology or IMC experience (2+ years preferred).
• 2+ years of acute care experience.

Responsibilities

• Care for adult and geriatric patients with STEMI, NSTEMI, stroke and post-cath needs.
• Monitor telemetry, operate IV pumps and Cerner systems.
• Participate in day/night shift coverage and patient care in Cardiology/IMC unit.

Job description

Career Land Center is hiring for a Registered Nurse for a 24-bed Cardiology / Intermediate Care unit at a 198-bed Level III trauma center in Farmington, NM.

You will work days caring for adult and geriatric patients with STEMI, NSTEMI, stroke and post-cath needs. IMC patients on titrating drips are staffed 1:3 and step-down patients 1:4, with Med-Surg patients at 1:5-6. The unit uses telemetry, IV pumps and Cerner.

Requirements

• ADN or higher with an RN license
• At least 1 year of cardiology or IMC experience (2 years preferred)
• At least 2 years of acute care experience
• BLS on submission; other certifications can be obtained after hire
• New Mexico or compact licensure is not required to apply, but must be obtained before the start date
