Career Land Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department in Farmington, NM. The role supports pediatric-focused trauma care in a 198-bed Level III center, with a team nursing and pod model.

You will handle trauma, stroke, STEMI, sepsis, and moderate sedation cases, using Cerner and ultrasound-guided IV placement. Days and Nights shifts available.

Qualifications

• RN license active and valid.
• Minimum ADN or higher in nursing.
• BLS certification at submission date.

Job description

Career Land Center is hiring for a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department of a 198-bed Level III trauma center in Farmington, NM, with a focus on pediatric patients.

About the role

You will work days in a 48-bed ED with flex space, using a team nursing and pod model. Ratios are 4:1 in the main ED and 6:1 in Fast Track. You will manage trauma, stroke, STEMI, sepsis and moderate sedation cases, along with chest pain, abdominal pain, COPD and behavioral health presentations. The unit uses Cerner and ultrasound-guided IV placement.

Requirements

• ADN or higher with an RN license
• At least 2 years of acute care experience in an emergency department
• Experience with trauma, stroke, STEMI, sepsis and moderate sedation
• BLS on submission; other certifications can be obtained after hire
• New Mexico or compact licensure is not required to apply, but must be obtained before the start date
