Job summary

Lower Bucks Hospital, a member of Prime Healthcare, in Bristol, PA, seeks a dedicated RN to join the Cardiovascular Laboratory. You will deliver direct patient care for adults and the elderly, coordinating with physicians to ensure safe, efficient diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.

Requirements include a PA RN license, BSN preferred, BCLS and ACLS on hire, and about 1 year CV lab or critical care experience. A $15,000 sign-on bonus is available for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Active state RN license required.
• BCLS (AHA) and ACLS certification required on hire.
• About 1 year of Cardiovascular Lab or Critical Care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to adult and geriatric patients in the CV lab.
• Collaborate with physicians and monitor physiologic/hemodynamic data during procedures.
• Assist with equipment readiness, supplies, and performance improvement activities.

Responsibilities

Provides direct patient care to adult and geriatric patient populations. Addresses the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care related to the surgical environment. Communicates with physician continuously and as needed about patient condition. Assists with the maintenance of equipment and inventory. Assesses procedure room or equipment functioning and readiness. Obtains supplies for individual cases and ensures all appropriate needs of the Cardiovascular Laboratory team are met. Monitors physiologic and hemodynamic data, as related to diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures performed in the cardiovascular lab. Monitors and records patients condition continuously while in the Cardiovascular lab. Participates in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement activities.

Qualifications

Education and Work Experience

• Bachelor Degree in Nursing (BSN); preferred.
• Active state Registered Nursing (RN) License; required.
• Current BCLS (AHA), ACLS certificate upon hire and maintain current; required.
• One (1) year clinical experience in a Cardiovascular Lab doing cardiac work or in a Critical Care area; required.
