Job summary

Garden City Hospital in Michigan is seeking a Registered Nurse (BSN) to join our Cardiovascular Lab team in a full-time, daytime role. You will provide direct patient care to adults and geriatrics and collaborate with physicians to ensure safety and quality.

Qualifications include an active RN license, BSN preferred, current BCLS and ACLS, and at least one year in a Cardiovascular Lab or CCU. We offer a sign-on bonus and a supportive environment committed to compassionate, high-quality care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to adult and geriatric patients.
• Address psychosocial, physical and care-related aspects of the surgical environment.
• Communicate with physicians about patient condition.
• Assist with equipment maintenance and inventory.
• Monitor procedure rooms and equipment readiness.
• Obtain supplies for cases and support Cardiovascular Lab team.
• Monitor physiological data during diagnostic/therapeutic procedures and document patient status.
• Participate in quality improvement activities.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care to adult and geriatric patient populations.
• Addresses the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care related to the surgical environment.
• Communicates with physician continuously and as needed about patient condition.
• Assists with the maintenance of equipment and inventory.
• Assesses procedure room or equipment functioning and readiness.
• Obtains supplies for individual cases and ensures all appropriate needs of the Cardiovascular Laboratory team are met.
• Monitors physiologic and hemodynamic data, as related to diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures performed in the cardiovascular lab.
• Monitors and records patients condition continuously while in the Cardiovascular lab.
• Participates in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement activities.

Qualifications

Education and Work Experience

• Bachelor Degree in Nursing (BSN); preferred.
• Active state Registered Nursing (RN) License; required.
• Current BCLS (AHA), ACLS certificate upon hire and maintain current; required.
• One (1) year clinical experience in a Cardiovascular Lab doing cardiac work or in a Critical Care area; required.
