Prime Healthcare is seeking a Full Time Registered Nurse (RN) at Lower Bucks Hospital in Pennsylvania. This role involves delivering safe patient care, maintaining professional nursing standards, and responding to changes in patient conditions. Qualified candidates should possess a current RN license, BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification. Experience in acute care settings is preferred. The position requires flexibility to float to multiple units. The hospital is dedicated to quality, compassion, and community service.

Formación

Lower Bucks Hospital is a community hospital, serving the Lower Bucks County region with medical, surgical, and emergency care. Located in historic Bristol, Pennsylvania, the Hospital is well-known for its knowledgeable medical staff, including cardiology, orthopedics, radiology, wound care, and general surgery. The hospital has more than 200 physicians on staff, as well as another 700 employees.

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for the delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. The Float RN can be assigned to multiple units based on need and will maintain competency to practice in all units. Provides direct patient care within the scope of practice. The RN also directs and guides patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of professional nursing care. The RN is directly responsible and accountable for the care given to assigned patients on an assigned unit. She/he/them communicates with the physician about the changes in the patient’s clinical condition including results of the diagnostic studies and symptomatology. Is capable of responding quickly and accurately to changes in the condition and/or response to treatment. Maintains patient privacy and confidentiality.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS (ARC/AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Current ACLS (ARC/AHA) certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
• Current PALS (ARC/AHA) certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
• Minimum of one year experience as a staff RN in an acute care hospital setting preferred.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Behavioral Violence Prevention (BVP) certificate within 6 months of hire and maintain current annually.
• Able to float to multiple units and maintain competency within assigned areas.
