Job summary

Lower Bucks Hospital in Bristol, PA is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join the Cardiovascular Laboratory team. This full-time role provides direct patient care to adults and geriatrics in the surgical setting, with ongoing communication with physicians.

The ideal candidate holds a BSN (preferred), an active PA RN license, current BCLS and ACLS on hire, and at least one year of CV lab or critical care experience.

Qualifications

• Active state RN license required.
• Current BCLS (AHA) certification on hire and maintain current.
• ACLS certification upon hire and maintain current.
• One year of clinical experience in a Cardiovascular Lab or Critical Care.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care to adult and geriatric populations in the cardiovascular lab.
• Communicates with physicians about patient condition and needs.
• Assists with equipment maintenance and inventory; ensures readiness of the lab.
• Monitors physiologic and hemodynamic data during procedures.

Responsibilities

Provides direct patient care to adult and geriatric patient populations. Addresses the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care related to the surgical environment. Communicates with physician continuously and as needed about patient condition. Assists with the maintenance of equipment and inventory. Assesses procedure room or equipment functioning and readiness. Obtains supplies for individual cases and ensures all appropriate needs of the Cardiovascular Laboratory team are met. Monitors physiologic and hemodynamic data, as related to diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures performed in the cardiovascular lab. Monitors and records patients condition continuously while in the Cardiovascular lab. Participates in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Nursing (BSN); preferred.


• Active state Registered Nursing (RN) License; required.


• Current BCLS (AHA), ACLS certificate upon hire and maintain current; required.


• One (1) year clinical experience in a Cardiovascular Lab doing cardiac work or in a Critical Care area; required.
