Ascension St. Vincent Heart Center in Carmel, IN is seeking an experienced Cardiac RN for PRN Days, three 12-hour shifts over six weeks. You will implement and monitor patient care plans, coordinate disciplines for well‑coordinated care, and ensure orders are followed while addressing discharge needs.

Applicants should hold an RN license, BLS, and ACLS or ALS. This role offers a meaningful environment within a leading nonprofit health system with strong support and career growth opportunities.

Formación

• BLS certification required within 1 month of hire.
• RN license active prior to hire date.
• ACLS preferred.

How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Implements and monitors patient care plans. Monitors, records and communicates patient condition as appropriate.
• Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders.
• Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s):
  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• Preferred Credential(s):
  • Advanced Life Support. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required. OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.

Additional Preferences

• Must have at least 2 years current Cardiac nursing experience in a high acuity inpatient hospital.
