Job summary

Joint Township District Memorial Hospital is seeking a part-time OB RN to provide comprehensive nursing care to antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and newborn patients during night shifts.

You will lead patient teaching, collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, and cover on-call rotations as needed; Ohio RN license required and prior OB experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed to practice nursing in the State of Ohio.
• OB experience required.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for delivery of patient care to antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, newborn, and gynecologic patient populations utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Directs and guides patient teaching and activities of Nursing Ancillary Personnel.
• Assumes a lead role in patient teaching.
• Places the patient at the center of care practices.
• Collaborates and interacts positively with the interdisciplinary team to provide quality care and achieve desired outcomes.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Hours of Job

• Part Time - 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
• Every third weekend and every third holiday rotation required.

Duties and Key Responsibilities

• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Ability to work every third weekend and every third holiday rotation.
• Must have willingness to be placed on call and to support staffing during census fluctuations.

Education/Certifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed to practice nursing in the State of Ohio.

Experience

• Previous OB experience is required.
