Job summary

Joint Township District Memorial Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Birthing Center on a part-time night shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM). The role requires every third weekend and every third holiday rotations, with on-call flexibility to support census fluctuations.

The nurse will care for antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, newborn, and gynecologic patients, applying the nursing process and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Licensed to practice nursing in Ohio.
• Previous OB experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care to antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, newborn, and gynecologic patients using the nursing process.
• Direct and guide patient teaching with Nursing Ancillary Personnel.
• Take a lead role in patient education and coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team.
• Support census-related staffing and ensure patient-centered care.
