Grand Lake Health System is seeking a Part Time registered nurse to provide obstetric and gynecologic patient care during the 7:00 PM–7:00 AM shift. This role requires coverage for every third weekend and every third holiday rotation.

The RN will coordinate care, educate patients, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure exemplary outcomes. Responsibilities include leading patient teaching efforts, maintaining patient-centered care, and supporting staff during census

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed to practice nursing in the State of Ohio.

Responsabilités

• Delivery of patient care to antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, newborn, and gynecologic patients using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Directs and guides patient teaching and activities of Nursing Ancillary Personnel.

Duties and Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for delivery of patient care to the antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, newborn, and gynecologic patient populations utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Directs and guides patient teaching and activities of Nursing Ancillary Personnel.
• Assumes a lead role in patient teaching.
• Places the patient at the center of care practices.
• Collaborates and interacts positively with the interdisciplinary team to provide quality care and achieve desired outcomes.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Ability to work every third weekend and every third holiday rotation.
• Must have willingness to be placed on call and to support staffing during census fluctuations.

Education/Certifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed to practice nursing in the State of Ohio.

Experience

• Previous OB experience is required.
