Job summary

Ascension Milwaukee is seeking a Registered Nurse Educator specializing in childbirth to join the Surgery department on the day shift. You will collaborate with nurse managers to assess learning needs and competency, and to develop, implement, and evaluate educational plans and tools across the team.

Maintain records, prepare reports, and contribute to patient care through education. Wisconsin RN licensure is required; childbirth educator preferred; ACLS/BLS preferred; Nursing diploma required.

Qualifications

• RN licensed in Wisconsin prior to hire or transfer.
• Educator specializing in childbirth preferred.
• ACLS/BLS certification preferred.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Licensure from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing OR current home state license if considered multi-state/Compact State.
• Educator specializing in Childbirth preferred.
• Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
