Job summary

Essentia Health Duluth Family Medicine Clinic is seeking an experienced nurse leader to oversee daily operations, staffing, and workflow development. You will partner with leadership to guide patient care, staff development, and process improvements.

The role may involve RN duties to assess patients, provide education, and advocate for high-quality care. A BSN/ADN and BCLS are required, with 2 years of ambulatory leadership experience preferred.

Qualifications

• BSN or ADN from an accredited nursing program.
• 2 years nursing experience in ambulatory setting or community health with leadership.
• Current BCLS certification and state nursing license.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily department operations, staffing, and workflows.
• Provide input to leadership on policies, procedures, systems and budgets.
• Lead patient care, education, and advocacy; may perform RN duties as needed.
• Support continuous quality improvement across care and service delivery.

Responsible for direct nursing leadership, nursing staff development, patient care, and patient advocacy.
