  • Exemption Status: Non-Exempt
  • Schedule Details: Holidays - Every Third Holiday, Monday through Friday; Weekends - Every Fourth Weekend
  • Scheduled Hours: 7pm-7:30am
  • Shift: 3 - Night Shift, 12 Hours (United States of America)
  • Hours: 36
  • Cost Center: 10020 - 0150 NSG Float Pool
  • Union: MNA-University (Massachusetts Nurses Association)

Compensation

$10,000 Sign-on Bonus is available to eligible external new hires. Rules and restrictions apply. The Talent Acquisition team will discuss eligibility with candidates.

Responsibilities
  • Utilize the Nursing Process for planning, delivering, and managing patient care from admission to discharge, appropriate to the developmental age of the patient population.
  • Perform patient assessment and reassessment according to standard procedures.
  • Develop and coordinate individual care plans, including discharge planning.
  • Direct, supervise, coordinate, and evaluate nursing care within the assigned clinical setting.
  • Delegate appropriately to others based on job description and competency level.
Qualifications
License/Certification/Education
  • Required: Current Massachusetts Nursing licensure and registration; BLS certification for all RNs; unit-specific certifications and competencies as defined in the Unit Profile.
  • Preferred: Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing.
Experience/Skills
  • Required: Thorough knowledge of Nursing discipline.
