• Provide care for patients according to Nursing Policy and Procedures.
• Commit to every third weekend and holiday rotation.

Registered Nurse, Medical Surgical Float Pool to Medical Surgical Floors; 36 Hour Night 7 pm - 7:30 am position; Every Third Weekend Commitment and Holiday Rotation Commitment. As a Float Pool Nurse, you would float to various Medical Surgical Floors including:

• Cardiology Medical Telemetry
• Cardiothoracic Surgery
• Neurology
• Ortho Neurosurgery trauma
• Acute Surgical Specialties
• Transplant
• Medical Surgical Telemetry

Job Description:

Education: Graduate of a 2-4 year state approved and/or accredited School of Nursing

Skills, Knowledge & Abilities: Demonstrates the necessary clinical skills and technical knowledge to provide care for patients according to Nursing Policy and Procedures. See Skill Record. Demonstrates the necessary clinical skills and knowledge to provide care for patients according to the specific competencies. Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.

Qualifications:

• BSN Preferred and/or ASN Degree Requirements
• At least 1 year of nursing experience in an acute care or sub-acute setting required
• Current Massachusetts registered Nurse License required
• Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification required
• Demonstrate critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills; ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions; PC skills
• Lifting up to 75 lbs. maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying objects weighing up to 25 lbs
