Schedule: 36 Hours, Evenings/Nights, 7p-7a, Every Other Weekend, Full-Time, Benefit Eligible
Position Summary: The Critical Care RN assumes full responsibility for the quality of nursing care provided to patients and their families. This includes health maintenance, teaching, counseling, collaborative planning, comfort, and restoration of optimal functioning. Responsibilities may also include the dignified care at the end of life. The RN may delegate nursing activities to other RNs and healthcare personnel within the scope of their education and licensure. The role involves providing care to all age groups from adolescents to the elderly, with attention to specific needs such as impairments, language barriers, or abuse victims. The RN incorporates our commitment to patient rights, mission, vision, and values into practice at Good Samaritan Medical Center.
