Responsibilities

• Obtain changes in physician orders as indicated by resident progress.
• Communicate resident condition to charge nurses, supervisors, and Director of Nursing.
• Maintain clean, orderly treatment cart and restock supplies.
• Follow Infection Control policies and procedures.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physician.
• Document pressure sore status as condition changes.
• Monitor inventory of medications and supplies for residents.
• Educate residents and families about skin care on discharge home.
• Participate in Quality Improvement activities as assigned.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
