Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida
• One year of nursing experience preferred
• Current/active CPR certification
• Excellent clinical, assessment, and documentation skills
• Effective verbal and written English communication
• Professionalism with confidentiality
• Team-oriented with good collaboration
• Customer-service oriented under pressure
• Strong attention to detail and organization
• Ability to work with minimal supervision

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to residents as prescribed by physicians and in accordance with nursing standards and regulations
• Communicate resident condition and progress to charge nurses and Director of Nursing
• Maintain treatment cart and restock supplies
• Follow Infection Control policies and procedures
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered
• Document changes in resident status and progress
• Assist in monitoring medications inventory and supplies
• Educate residents and families on skin care when discharging home
• Participate in Quality Improvement activities and other duties as assigned
• Background Screening Clearinghouse Education and Awareness link included
