Job summary

The Ponce Therapy Care Center in St. Augustine, FL is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our compassionate care team. We offer a $2,000 sign-on bonus for full-time and a $1,000 sign-on bonus for part-time positions.

As a CNA, you will provide direct resident care under licensed supervision, assist with daily living activities, monitor residents' well-being, and support a respectful, dignified environment. Our facility emphasizes teamwork and ongoing education.

Qualifications

• Current Nursing Assistant certification from Florida.
• CPR certification preferred.
• At least one year Skilled Nursing experience preferred.
• Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
• Highest level of professionalism with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to communicate at all levels of organization and work well within a team environment.
• Customer service oriented with the ability to work well under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care (grooming, bathing, dressing, oral care) of residents daily and as needed.
• Change bed linen and maintain supplies in resident room on a regular basis.
• Ambulate and transfer residents with proper body mechanics.
• Record vital signs, weights and measurements, intake/output, and food consumption.
• Routinely turn and position residents as necessary.
• Observe residents and report changes to Charge Nurse.
• Participate in data collection for MDS and care plan development.
• Provide adequate hydration and assist during meals.
• Keep accurate records of food intake and output.
• Be alert to environment conditions and maintain proper ventilation, temperature, and noise control.
• Take TPR, blood pressure, and other vitals as directed.
• Promptly answer call lights and assist with needs.
• Assist in orientation and training of other staff, as requested.
