Job summary

The Plaza Health and Rehabilitation Center in Gainesville, FL is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our caring team. As an RN, you will provide nursing care to residents as prescribed by physicians and ensure compliance with nursing standards and regulations.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida required.
• One year related nursing experience preferred.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to residents as prescribed by the physician and in accordance with standards of nursing practice and regulations, and as directed by the Director of Nursing.
• Obtain changes in physician’s orders as indicated by resident’s progress.
• Communicate resident condition and progress to charge nurses, supervisors and DON.
• Maintain clean, orderly treatment cart and restock supplies.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the physician.
• Document pressure sore status and monitor inventory of medications and supplies.
• Participate in educational programs for residents and families; engage in Quality Improvement activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
