MetroHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse for the 3 East Medicine unit (Inpatient Medicine) in Northeast Ohio. The role involves clinical assessment, medication management, and care of common medical conditions with IV therapy and patient monitoring.

You'll collaborate with LPNs, PCNAs, providers, and other team members. Eligible for sign-on bonus up to $10,000 with rotating weekend and holiday shifts.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current Ohio RN license.
• AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider (BLS) certification or ANSI requirement within 90 days of hire.

Responsabilités

• Provide inpatient nursing care on the 3 East Medicine unit.
• Perform IV therapy and related procedures.
• Monitor patients and coordinate care with LPNs, PCNAs, and providers.
• Demonstrate time management and organizational skills; ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and care team.

• 26 (Unit shares space with the oncology team)
• 14 Medicine Beds
• 12 Oncology Beds

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing (or a program seeking accreditation).
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio
• Current AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
