Job summary

Baysiderehabilitation in Pensacola, FL, seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse to oversee CNAs under the Director of Nursing. You will collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized resident care plans and ensure timely baseline and ongoing assessments.

Deliver nursing care within policy, participate in physician rounds, and document evaluations and reports. Must hold an active FL RN license; prior skilled nursing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing in the state of practice (FL).
• Experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support CNAs under the Director of Nursing.
• Collaborate with the IDT to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
• Ensure timely completion of baseline and periodic assessments.
• Prepare for physician rounds and document for review.
• Initiate referrals as needed based on resident needs.
• Handle medical documentation, evaluations, and reports.
• Deliver nursing care within scope and facility policy.
• Monitor changes in residents' condition and notify providers.

The Opportunity

We are currently seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse

What You Will Do

• Supervise and support Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) under the direction of the Director of Nursing
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team (IDT) to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans
• Ensure initial baseline and periodic comprehensive assessments are completed on time
• Prepare for and facilitate physician rounds by flagging concerns and preparing documentation for review
• Initiate consultations or referrals as appropriate based on resident needs
• Perform administrative tasks including medical documentation, evaluations, and reports
• Deliver nursing care within scope of practice and aligned with facility policy and clinical standards
• Monitor residents for changes in condition (e.g., confusion, fever, breathing difficulty, pain, appetite changes, mobility loss) and notify providers as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing

What You Must Have

• Active RN license in good standing in the state of practice.
• Experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting is preferred but not required—we’ll invest in the right heart and mindset.
