Job summary

Stars Behavioral Health Group is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Long Beach Behavioral Health Urgent Care Center in Long Beach, CA. The RN will oversee nursing duties, supervise staff, and participate in rapid mental health evaluations and medication support.

The role requires a CA RN license, BLS/CPR, and experience with emotionally disturbed clients; supervision for BBS hours may be available. On-call shifts run 7 AM to 7:30 PM with company-paid benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Valid California RN license.
• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 1 year experience with seriously emotionally disturbed clients in a mental health setting.
• Current CPR certification.
• Current First Aid certification.
• Valid California driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all nursing duties and activities for clients on their shift.
• Supervise nursing department staff assigned to their shift.
• Provide crisis intervention and medication support as part of rapid mental health evaluations.
