Job summary

Stars Behavioral Health Group in Los Angeles, CA is seeking an LVN/LPT to provide direct client care in a 16-bed residential facility. The role includes medication administration, including injections, and delivering compassionate psychiatric nursing within a supportive team.

You will engage with clients and families, develop and implement tailored care plans, and contribute to on-the-job training and supervision hours for AMFT, ACSW, and APCC professionals where applicable.

Qualifications

• Active, valid California LVN or LPT license.
• Current CPR certification and First Aid certification.
• Experience in mental health settings or willingness to complete 20 hours of on-the-job training within the first year.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications, including injections.
• Engage clients and families to assess health status and care needs.
• Develop and implement nursing care plans for psychiatric care.
• Provide supervision hours for AMFT, ACSW, and APCC where applicable.
