Job summary

Premise Health Inc. is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse to provide care to United Airlines employees at our Health Center in Denver, CO.

The role offers a flexible schedule (PRN) with weekend and evening coverage as needed and requires training during the onboarding period. Qualified candidates will be licensed RNs in their state, with a BLS certification and at least three years of RN experience in ER or occupational health settings.

Qualifications

• RN licensed in state of practice required.
• BLS certification required; ACLS may be required.
• Three years RN experience in ER or occupational health.
• Nursing degree from accredited program.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient care needs and perform nursing evaluations.
• Collaborate with physicians for further evaluation and care.
• Perform and document medical tests such as EKG, audiometry, spirometry.
• Administer medications and emergency care within scope.
• Maintain equipment, ensure clean, safe environment, apply infection control.
• Maintain up-to-date patient health records.
• Educate patients on health promotion and follow-up care.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

PRN Registered Nurse, you'll provide care to client employees of United Airlinesin our Health Center located in Denver, CO.

Schedule

• PRN As Needed
• Weekend Sat & Sun Coverage 6:00 am - 8:00 pm
• Mon - Fri Evening Coverage Needed During the hours of 11:00 am - 8:00 pm
• Required Training: New hires are required to attend training 1–2 weekdays per week for approximately one month.

What You’ll Do

• Assesses patient care needs, conducts nursing evaluations, and provides treatment within scope of practice
• Collaborates with physicians and other healthcare practitioners for further medical evaluation and care as needed
• Performs and documents medical tests, screenings, and treatments as defined in site contract (EKG, audiometry, spirometry, vision)
• Administers medications and emergency care within legal scope of practice
• Maintains medical equipment, ensures a clean and safe environment, and follows infection control procedures
• Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records
• Educates patients on health promotion and participates in follow-up care
• Performs other duties as assigned

What You’ll Bring

• Certificate from an accredited Nursing School or associate degree (A.S.) is required; Bachelor's degree (BSN) from four-year college or university is preferred
• Currently licensed Registered Nurse in state of practice required
• Current certification with hands‑on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services
• Certification in Occupational Health Nursing (COHN/COHN-S), Emergency Nursing, or Case Management preferred and may be required for some sites
• At least three years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an emergency room, occupational health clinic or other ambulatory care clinic

Premise provides its reasonable and genuinely expected range of compensation for this job of $35.00 - $45.00 per hour. A number of factors will influence the rate offered for this position, including your experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other factors.

For individuals living in Washington or Colorado: Premise employees accrue paid sick leave at a rate of 0.03333 hours per hour worked.
