Premise Health is hiring a PRN Registered Nurse for our Health Center in Denver, CO. You will provide care to United Airlines employees, with evening coverage from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm and a focus on comprehensive nursing care in a fast-paced environment.

You must have an RN license in the state, an accredited nursing degree, BLS (ACLS may be required), and about 3 years of ER or occupational health experience.

Competenze

• Active RN license in the state of practice.
• Diploma/degree from an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• 3+ years RN experience in ER or occupational health/ambulatory care.
• BLS certification; ACLS may be required.

Mansioni

• Assess patient care needs and perform nursing evaluations.
• Collaborate with physicians for further medical evaluation and care.
• Perform nursing procedures (EKG, audiometry, spirometry, vision) and document results.
• Administer medications and provide emergency care within scope.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and infection control practices.
• Maintain patient health records with accuracy and timeliness.
• Educate patients on health promotion and participate in follow-up care.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

As a PRN Registered Nurse, you'll provide care to client employees of United Airlinesin our Health Center located in Denver, CO.

Schedule

• PRN As Needed
• Mon - Fri Evening Coverage Needed During the hours of 11:00 am - 8:00 pm
• Required Training: New hires are required to attend training 1–2 weekdays per week for approximately one month.

What You’ll Do

• Assesses patient care needs, conducts nursing evaluations, and provides treatment within scope of practice
• Collaborates with physicians and other healthcare practitioners for further medical evaluation and care as needed
• Performs and documents medical tests, screenings, and treatments as defined in site contract (EKG, audiometry, spirometry, vision)
• Administers medications and emergency care within legal scope of practice
• Maintains medical equipment, ensures a clean and safe environment, and follows infection control procedures
• Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records
• Educates patients on health promotion and participates in follow-up care
• Performs other duties as assigned

What You’ll Bring

• Certificate from an accredited Nursing School or associate degree (A.S.) is required; Bachelor's degree (BSN) from four-year college or university is preferred
• Currently licensed Registered Nurse in state of practice required
• Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services
• Certification in Occupational Health Nursing (COHN/COHN-S), Emergency Nursing, or Case Management preferred and may be required for some sites
• At least three years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an emergency room, occupational health clinic or other ambulatory care clinic

Premise provides its reasonable and genuinely expected range of compensation for this job of $35.00 - $45.00 per hour. A number of factors will influence the rate offered for this position, including your experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other factors.
