Job summary

Paradigm Healthcare in Texas is seeking compassionate RNs to join our team. You will provide direct nursing care, develop and direct a resident’s plan of care, and supervise nursing staff in a supportive, celebratory environment.

A $3,200 sign-on bonus is offered to qualified applicants. Requirements include an active TX RN license and an Associate Degree in Nursing; Long-Term Care experience is preferred, with rehabilitative experience a plus.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State.
• An Associate Degree in Nursing is required.
• 2 years’ experience in Long-Term Care preferred.
• Six (6) months experience in rehabilitative and restorative nursing preferred.
• Strong utilization knowledge of Point Click Care preferred.
• Computer literacy with Outlook, Office, and Internet required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; demonstrate leadership and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in accordance with the nurse practice act and facility policies.
• Plan and direct the delivery of a resident’s plan of care per physician orders and guidelines.
• Oversee nursing service personnel and ensure standards are met.
• Develop daily work and unit assignments and supervise nursing staff as needed.
• Ensure proper login-off procedures at unattended workstations and patient privacy.
• Coordinate with nursing aides and other staff to maintain policy compliance.
