Job summary

The Grand Healthcare is seeking a Registered Dietary Technician to assess, plan, and implement nutritional care for residents across our facilities. You will partner with the Food Service Director to tailor meal plans, ensure dietary restrictions are met, and uphold high standards of food safety and quality.

You will collaborate with the healthcare team, educate residents and families on nutrition, and support daily dietary operations within a compliant, patient-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Completion of an ACEND-accredited Nutrition and Dietetics Technician program.
• Associate’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university.
• Successful completion of 450 hours of supervised practice in healthcare, foodservice, or community nutrition programs.
• Certification: Passed the CDR national examination to become a NDTR.
• Strong knowledge of dietary principles, food safety and sanitation.

Responsibilities

• Dietary Planning & Coordination with the Food Service Director and interdisciplinary team.
• Food Service Management & Support, ensuring adherence to dietary guidelines and quality.
• Team Collaboration & Operational Support within the dietary department and healthcare team.
