Job summary

Manchester Center for Rehabilitation and Healing is seeking a Registered Dietitian to join our skilled nursing team. The RD will independently evaluate and treat residents, focusing on geriatric nutrition and nutritional care coordination across departments.

The role includes providing nutrition therapy, mentoring staff, and ensuring regulatory compliance, with responsibilities spanning QAPI reporting and collaboration with nursing, kitchen, and clinical staff.

Qualifications

• Experience in geriatric nutrition and clinical assessment.
• Ability to evaluate and treat independently.
• Strong communication with interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Review, develop, implement and monitor advanced nutrition practices.
• Provide monthly QAPI reporting with measurable goals.
• Mentor and supervise nutrition staff and managers.
• Oversee customer service issues to ensure patient satisfaction.
• Coordinate with Nursing and other departments during DOH investigations.
• Ensure seamless communication between kitchen and management for nutrition care.
• Review menus for nutritional value and regulatory compliance.
