Autumn Woods Healthcare Facility seeks a Dietetic Technician Registered to oversee nutritional care for residents under the supervision of the Food Service Director/Manager. This role ensures that diet plans meet federal, state, and local standards while aligning with resident needs and preferences.

The position emphasizes collaboration with the RD, ongoing documentation, and participation in performance improvement initiatives to support quality nutrition services in a long-term care setting.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Dietetics or Nutrition from an accredited program.
• Eligible for Dietetic Technician licensure/certification per program requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintains clinical nutrition documentation per Nursing Center policies and standards.
• Communicates with RD regularly to ensure accurate assessments and progress notes.
• Coordinates with the Food Service Director/Manager to plan therapeutic menus and diet orders.
• Interacts with residents and families to incorporate preferences into care plans.
• Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations in nutrition care.
