Job summary

Acts Retirement-Life Communities seeks a Well-Being & Registered Dietitian to deliver nutrition-focused well-being and clinical coaching to residents. You will perform visits, nutritional assessments, document records, and educate groups or individuals, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.

Travel between Heron Point (Chestertown, MD) and Manor House (Seaford, DE) is required; MD/DE licensure, RD credential, and Health Coach certification within six months are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition with Registered Dietitian certification.
• 1–3 years healthcare, clinical, management, and/or wellness experience.
• Long-term care experience preferred.
• Current RDN credential with licensure in MD and DE.
• Health Coach Certification must be obtained within six months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive well-being, clinical, and lifestyle coaching to residents across all levels of care.
• Coordinate with an interdisciplinary team to promote community health and well-being.
• Provide consultation with regulations to ensure quality nutrition services.
• Support Quality Assurance & Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives and departmental policies.

Acts is currently seeking qualified candidates for our Well-Being & Registered Dietitian position.

This position will require travel between our two communities listed below:

• Heron Point of Chestertown - Chestertown, MD
• Manor House - Seaford, DE

In this role, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive well-being, clinical, and lifestyle coaching services to residents in all levels of care via visitation, observation, nutritional assessment, medical records documentation, and group or individual education. Coordinates with an interdisciplinary team to promote community health and well-being. Provides consultation with federal, state, local, and corporate regulations to ensure proper delivery of quality nutrition services to residents. Supports Quality Assurance & Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives and department policies and procedures.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition with Registered Dietitian certification
• 1-3 years of healthcare, clinical, management, and/or wellness experience
• Long-term care experience is preferred
• Current Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential with licensure in both Maryland and Deleware
• Health Coach Certification (must be obtained within six months of employment)

Pay Range

$81,689.00 - $99,985.00 / year. Starting rate will vary based on skills and experience.
