Job summary

Acts Retirement-Life Communities seeks a Registered Dietitian to provide comprehensive nutrition services to residents across care levels. You will conduct visits, nutritional assessments, document medical records, and educate individuals and groups.

Work with an interdisciplinary team to promote health and well-being, ensure compliance with regulations, and support QA initiatives. This role requires Maryland and Delaware licensure and a Health Coach certification within six months.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition and RDN certification are required.
• 1–3 years of healthcare, clinical, management, or wellness experience.
• MD and DE licensure as RDN required.
• Health Coach Certification must be obtained within six months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nutrition services to residents via visitation, assessment, and documentation.
• Coordinate with an interdisciplinary team to promote community health and well-being.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, local and corporate regulations and support QAPI initiatives.
• Educate residents through group or individual sessions on nutrition and healthy lifestyles.

This position will require travel between our two communities listed below:

• Heron Point of Chestertown - Chestertown, MD
• Manor House - Seaford, DE

In this role, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive well-being, clinical, and lifestyle coaching services to residents in all levels of care via visitation, observation, nutritional assessment, medical records documentation, and group or individual education. Coordinates with an interdisciplinary team to promote community health and well-being. Provides consultation with federal, state, local, and corporate regulations to ensure proper delivery of quality nutrition services to residents. Supports Quality Assurance & Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives and department policies and procedures.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition with Registered Dietitian certification
• 1-3 years of healthcare, clinical, management, and/or wellness experience
• Long-term care experience is preferred
• Current Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential with licensure in both Maryland and Deleware
• Health Coach Certification (must be obtained within six months of employment)

Pay Range

$81,689.00 - $99,985.00 / year. Starting rate will vary based on skills and experience.
