Job summary

Windsor Elmhaven Care center is seeking a Registered Dietitian to assess nutritional care for residents. You will advise the clinical team and dietary department on nutritional status, lab values, and therapeutic diets to support optimal nutrition and high-quality care.

The role requires Licensure as a Registered Dietitian and 3-5 years in acute or long-term care, with strong knowledge of nursing regulations and aging-related nutrition needs. PCC experience a plus; relocation is not specified.

If Yes, How You Will Contribute To The Team

As the Registered Dietitian (RD), you will be responsible for assessing the nutritional care of each resident/patient in the center. You will advise the clinical team, dietary department, and Administration on the nutritional status of residents, including lab value interpretation, nutritional intake, consumption patterns, food/drug interactions, therapeutic diets, and overall customer satisfaction. Your role is key to ensuring optimal nutrition for our residents and maintaining high standards of care.

Must Have

• Registered Dietitian License.
• 3-5 years' experience in an acute or long-term care environment.
• Excellent knowledge of skilled nursing regulations (federal/state/local) as they pertain to the dietary field, including interpretation and implementation.
• Excellent knowledge of the aging process and the physical, psychosocial, and social needs of the long-term care resident population with regard to nutrition.
