Job summary

Acts Retirement-Life Communities is seeking a Well-Being & Registered Dietitian to support residents across levels of care, visiting Fairhaven in Sykesville and Buckingham's Choice in Adamstown, MD. You will assess nutrition, provide education, and coordinate with an interdisciplinary team.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s in Nutrition, RDN certification, MD licensure, 1–3 years healthcare experience, and Health Coach certification within six months.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition with Registered Dietitian certification.
• 1-3 years healthcare, clinical, management, or wellness experience.
• Long-term care experience preferred.
• RDN certification and Maryland licensure required.
• Health coach certification must be obtained within six months.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive well-being, clinical and lifestyle coaching to residents.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary team across multiple communities.
• Perform nutrition assessments and document in medical records.
• Support QA & Performance Improvement initiatives and department policies.

Fairhaven is currently seeking qualified candidates for our Well-Being & Registered Dietitian position.

This position will require travel between our two communities listed below:

• Fairhaven - Sykesville, MD
• Buckingham\'s Choice - Adamstown, MD

In this role, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive well-being, clinical, and lifestyle coaching services to residents in all levels of care via visitation, observation, nutritional assessment, medical records documentation, and group or individual education. Coordinates with an interdisciplinary team to promote community health and well-being, in multiple communities. Provides consultation with federal, state, local, and corporate regulations to ensure proper delivery of quality nutrition services to residents. Supports Quality Assurance & Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives and department policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition with Registered Dietitian certification
• 1-3 years of healthcare, clinical, management, and/or wellness experience
• Long-term care experience is preferred
• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) and state licensure in Maryland
• Health Coach Certification (must be obtained within six months of employment)

Pay Range

$81,689.00 - $99,985.00 / year. Starting rate will vary based on skills and experience.
