Job summary

Cura-Hospitality is seeking an experienced registered dietitian to join the healthcare team in New Brighton. You will assess nutritional needs, initiate interventions, and improve quality of life aligned with patient goals. This is a non-exempt, hourly position onsite.

You will educate staff and residents, follow professional standards, and participate in quality improvement efforts while coordinating with dining and nutrition services.

Qualifications

• Passed a national examination administered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or meets the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics requirements for eligibility.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years per CDR.
• Licensed or certified per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards for assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients/residents and staff.
• Follow Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards and facility regulations.
• Collaborate with other departments to implement dining service and nutrition procedures.
• Contribute to continuous quality improvement programs.
