Job summary

Cura Hospitality is seeking an experienced Registered Dietitian to join our healthcare team in New Brighton, MN. You will assess nutritional needs, initiate interventions to maintain nutritional status, and enhance residents’ quality of life.

This non-exempt, hourly role emphasizes collaboration with the care team and adherence to regulatory standards. Must hold CDR credentials or eligibility, complete CE hours, and be licensed.

Qualifications

• Passed a national examination administered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or meets the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics requirements for eligibility.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years, per the CDR portfolio development process.
• Licensed or certified, per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards for comprehensive assessments, care planning and residents’ rights.
• Ability to teach others, specifically pertaining to nutrition and dietetics.

Responsibilities

• Providing nutritional expertise to the health care team and educating patients/residents, staff, or consultants.
• Following the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics’ standards of practice and facility regulatory requirements.
• Interacting with other departments in setting up procedures and policies related to dining service and nutrition.
• Actively participating in the development, review, and revision of continuous quality improvement programs.
