Job summary

Cura-Hospitality is seeking an experienced registered dietitian for Benedictine New Brighton, INNSBRUCK location. You will assess patients’ nutritional needs, initiate interventions, and improve quality of life in alignment with patient goals. This is a non-exempt, hourly role in a healthcare setting.

You will educate staff and residents, adhere to practice standards, and partner with dining services to optimize nutrition and care planning across the facility.

Qualifications

• Passed a national examination administered by the CDR or eligible per Academy standards.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years per CDR requirements.
• Licensed or certified per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards for assessments, care planning and residents’ rights.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to the healthcare team and educate patients/residents.
• Follow Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards and facility regulations.
• Collaborate with other departments to develop procedures for dining and nutrition.
• Contribute to continuous quality improvement programs.
