Job summary

Cura Hospitality is seeking a Registered Dietitian to join our healthcare team in New Brighton. The role involves assessing nutritional needs, initiating interventions, and improving quality of life for patients/residents. This is an hourly non-exempt, onsite position.

You will work with the care team, adhere to standards of practice, and contribute to dining services and nutrition policies within Benedictine New Brighton - Innsbruck.

Qualifications

• Passed the national exam administered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or eligible per the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years per CDR requirements.
• Licensed or certified per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards for assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to the care team and educate patients/residents, staff, or consultants.
• Follow Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards and facility regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with other departments to set up procedures and policies related to dining and nutrition.
• Participate in continuous quality improvement programs development and revision.
